Day 1
Fly to Johannesburg
Overnight flight to Johannesburg, South Africa.
Day 2
Arrive Safari Plains & Wildlife Talk
Scenic drive to your five-star tented camp in the Mabula Game Reserve, set against the Waterberg Mountains. Settle in, enjoy lunch, and attend an expert-led wildlife talk this evening.
Day 3
Morning Game Drive & Afternoon at Leisure
Early morning game drive to spot antelope herds on the move. Return for breakfast, then relax by the pool, enjoy high tea, or indulge in the on-site spa.
Day 4
Afternoon Game Drive with Sundowners
Lazy morning at leisure. Afternoon search for the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo. End with a traditional sundowner watching the sunset over the savannah.
Day 5
UNESCO Waterberg Biosphere Drive
Third game drive into the UNESCO-listed Waterberg Biosphere. Spot zebra, giraffe, antelope, and perhaps bushbabies, vervet monkeys, and mongooses.
Day 6
Morning Game Drive & Stargazing
Final morning game drive for Big Five sightings. Evening stargazing experience under the unobstructed African night sky.
Day 7
Fly to Mauritius
Transfer to Johannesburg for your flight to Mauritius. Arrive at the five-star Long Beach resort on the beachfront overlooking pristine coral reefs.
Day 8
Mauritius at Leisure or Northern Highlights Tour
Relax at the resort or join an optional tour: Royal Botanic Gardens, Sugar Adventure Museum, Grand-Baie village, Cap Malheureux, and Domaine Labourdonnais estate.
Day 9
Wonders of the South Winery Tour
Full-day included excursion: Takamaka lychee winery, sacred Ganga Talao crater lake, Black River Gorges National Park, lunch at a local home in Chamarel, and the famous Seven Coloured Earth.
Day 10
Tale of Four Islands Excursion
Optional speedboat cruise to uninhabited islands: Ile aux Mariannes nature reserve, Lighthouse Island, snorkelling in turquoise waters, and BBQ lunch on Ile aux Cerfs.
Day 11
Nature and History Tour
Optional tour: Trou aux Cerfs dormant volcano, Château Gheude (National History Museum), and the historic Biscuiterie H. Rault factory in Mahébourg.

Optional guided coastal walk along the Rivière des Anguilles through a private deer reserve, past sugar plantations to dramatic black cliffs. Included lunch at a park lodge.

Depart Mauritius
