Day 1
Fly to Johannesburg
Start your safari holiday with an overnight flight to Johannesburg.
Day 2
Travel to Safari Plains & Wildlife Talk
Scenic drive north to your five-star camp set against the Waterberg Mountain range. Arrive in time for lunch, settle into your luxury tented cabin, and enjoy an expert-led wildlife talk this evening.
Day 3
Morning Game Drive & Afternoon at Leisure
Rise early for your first game drive in Mabula, witnessing herds of antelope on the move. Return for breakfast, then spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool, enjoying high tea, or pampering yourself at the on-site spa.
Day 4
Morning at Leisure & Afternoon Game Drive with Sundowners
Lazy morning followed by an afternoon search for the Big Five. End the day with a true safari tradition—sundowners on the gorgeous savannah plains as the sun sets over Waterberg.
Day 5
Morning at Leisure & Afternoon Game Drive
Third game drive into the UNESCO-listed Waterberg Biosphere. Spot zebra, antelopes, giraffes, and perhaps the rarer tsessebe. Look closely for bushbabies, vervet monkeys, and burrowing mongooses.
Day 6
Morning Game Drive & Evening Stargazing
Early morning drive to spot vibrant birdlife including the endangered Ground Hornbill. This evening, enjoy an early dinner followed by a stargazing experience under the unobstructed African night sky.
Day 7
Morning Bushwalk & Afternoon Game Drive
Head out at sunrise for a walking safari—an intimate perspective of the reserve, tracking paths of kudu, zebra, and lions. Afternoon game drive to spot springbok and the blue crane, South Africa's national bird.
Day 8
Morning Game Drive & Bush Lunch
Final full day on safari. Morning game drive followed by a traditional bush lunch at a scenic spot—crowning your safari experience in authentic style.
Day 9
Morning at Leisure & Travel to Johannesburg
Final breakfast at camp, morning at leisure, then depart for Johannesburg for your overnight flight home.
