Day 1
Fly to Peru
Fly overnight to Lima, Peru's fascinating capital.
Day 2
Arrive Lima
Arrive in Lima and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 3
Lima City Tour
Guided tour of Peru's capital: Plaza Mayor, Presidential Palace, Baroque cathedral, San Isidro, Miraflores, El Olivar Park, and Kennedy Park.
Day 4
Fly to Cusco & Sacred Valley
Fly to Cusco, then travel to the Sacred Valley. Visit Ccaccaccollo for traditional Inca weaving demonstrations.
Day 5
Sacred Valley Tour
Explore Pisac ruins and market, Ollantaytambo fortress, visit an indigenous Potato Park, and enjoy traditional lunch.
Day 6
Machu Picchu
Travel by Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes, then bus to Machu Picchu. Guided tour of the Lost City of the Incas. Continue to Cusco.
Day 7
Cusco City Tour
Explore the 'Navel of the World': Santo Domingo monastery, Cathedral, Plaza de Armas, and San Pedro Market.
Day 8
Journey to Puno
Scenic coach journey through the Andean highlands to Lake Titicaca. Optional PeruRail Titicaca Train available.
Day 9
Lake Titicaca Cruise
Cruise to the Uros floating islands and Taquile Island. Learn about traditional life and enjoy lunch on Taquile.
Day 10
Aguada Blanca to Chivay
Journey through Aguada Blanca National Reserve, past vicunas and alpacas. Visit natural hot springs.
Day 11
Colca Canyon & Arequipa
Early visit to Cruz del Condor viewpoint. Guided hike into Colca Canyon. Visit Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque villages. Arrive in Arequipa.
Day 12
Arequipa City Tour
Tour the 'White City': Plaza de Armas, Cathedral, Santa Catalina Monastery, and La Compañía church.
Day 13
Fly to the Amazon
Fly to Puerto Maldonado. Travel upstream by boat to your jungle lodge for three nights.
Day 14
Lake Sandoval & Canopy Walk
Canoe on Lake Sandoval in Tambopata Reserve. Spot giant otters, monkeys, and caimans. Anaconda Walk and Canopy Walk through the treetops.
Day 15
Amazon Farm & Wildlife
Visit traditional Amazonian farm and botanical garden. Catch-and-release fishing. Visit Fitzcarrald shipwreck and wildlife hide.
Day 16
Fly to Lima
Check out from the lodge and fly to Lima. Evening at leisure.
Day 17
Return Flight
Morning at leisure. Afternoon overnight flight to the UK.
Day 18
Arrive UK
Arrive home after an extraordinary South American adventure.
